Wyoming senior Branson Ashworth is seeded No. 1 at 165 pounds for this weekend's Big 12 Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ashworth, who is ranked No. 8 in the country at 165, was one of nine Cowboys given top-8 pre-seeds on Monday.
Sophomore Montorie Bridges, who earned All-America status last year, is No. 3 at 133, with freshman Tate Samuelson seeded No. 4 at 184. Earning No. 5 seeds were Sheridan native Hayden Hastings at 174 and Brian Andrews at heavyweight.
Earning No. 6 seeds were Green River product Cole Verner at 125, Sam Turner at 141 and Dewey Krueger at 157.
