Wyoming women's soccer tied Hawai’i, 2-2, after two overtimes on Thursday in Honolulu.
Sophomore forward Shaina Ashouri scored in the 75th minute with an assist from sophomore forward Candace Sciberras to send the game into overtime.
“I thought the effort was great tonight,” Cowgirl head coach Pete Cuadrado said. “It was great to notch a couple of tallies on the night.”
Hawai’i got off to a quick start as Paige Okazaki scored off a loose ball in front of the net in the third minute of the match. Shortly after, the Cowgirls (0-0-2) notched a goal of their own from junior forward Laurel Ramer that tied the match.
