The University of Wyoming women's golf team had one of its best rounds of the year to close out the fall season Tuesday at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in Boulder City, Nevada.
The Cowgirls carded a 5-over 293 to finish 16th with a three-day score of 62-over 296. UNLV won the tourney with a 15-over 879.
Erin Sargent was the top finisher for UW with a 10-over 226 after shooting a 3-under 69 on Tuesday. Caitlyn Skavdahl (Natrona County) had a career-best 2-under 70 as she carded a 13-over 229. Rounding out the Cowgirls' lineup were Kaylee Knadler with a 232, Michelle Nguyen with a 243 and Cristiana Ciasca with a 245.
