The University of Wyoming volleyball team travels to Malibu, California, this weekend to compete in the Pepperdine Asics Classic.
The Cowgirls (3-3) open play Friday afternoon against host Pepperdine before playing Missouri State that night. On Saturday, UW takes on No. 8 Washington.
The Cowgirls went 2-1 this past weekend at the UniWyo Invite, with juniors Emily Lewis and Laurel Place (Cody) both earning all-tournament honors.
Lewis leads the team with 3.8 kills per set, while Marissa Harmon is the team's assist leader (9.7 per set) and Madi Fields leads the Cowgirls in digs (4.2 per set).
