Wyoming volleyball team signs four, including two in-state players

The University of Wyoming volleyball team signed four athletes, including two in-state players, Wednesday.

Evanston's Kaytlen Freeland and Cheyenne East's Marina Howard highlight the class, which also includes Marissa Harmon from Texas and Faith Waitsman from Arkansas.

Freeland, a 6-foot right-side hitter, was a two-time Class 4A all-state selection for the Red Devils. Howard, a 6-0 middle blocker who started her high school career at Pine Bluffs, helped the T-Birds win 4A state titles in each of her two seasons at Cheyenne East.

The Cowgirls (17-9, 10-3 Mountain West), who have won five matches in a row and are currently third in the MW, are on the road this weekend.
