The University of Wyoming volleyball team dropped its first Mountain West match Thursday, losing 3-1 (25-19, 25-23, 25-27, 25-14) at UNLV.
Courtney Chacon had 30 assists and 12 digs for the Cowgirls (10-7, 3-1 MW), who also got 16 kills and 11 digs from Kayla Slofkiss. In addition, Madi Fields had 18 digs and Laura Beach 13 kills for the Cowgirls.
