Wyoming volleyball team hosts No. 24 Colorado State

The University of Wyoming volleyball team returns to action Tuesday when the Cowgirls host No. 24 Colorado State.

Wyoming (6-8, 1-1 Mountain West) split its opening league matches in Laramie, beating UNLV in five sets before being swept by New Mexico.

The Cowgirls are one of the top defensive teams in the MW as they lead the conference with 2.77 blocks per set. Redshirt freshman Jackie McBride leads UW with 1.26 bps, followed by sophomore Reed Copeland at 1.20 bps.

Also for UW, junior Madi Fields is averaging 4.60 digs per set and freshman setter Marissa Harmon is averaging 8.
