Wyoming volleyball team falls to No. 21 Purdue in five sets

The University of Wyoming volleyball team came up on the short end against No. 21 Purdue at the UniWyo Invite on Saturday in Laramie.

The Cowgirls pushed the Boilermakers to the brink before falling 3-2 (25-18, 19-25, 25-22, 20-25, 15-7).

UW's Marissa Harmon continued her solid play, finishing with 41 assists, eight digs and six kills in the match. Emily Lewis added 17 kills and Madi Fields 14 digs for the Cowgirls.

Wyoming plays in the Pepperdine Asics Classic in Malibu, California, this weekend. The Cowgirls will face host Pepperdine, Missouri State and Washington.
