Wyoming volleyball sweeps Utah State

The University of Wyoming volleyball team improved to 10-0 at home with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-19) sweep of Utah State on Thursday in Laramie.

Tara Traphagan led a balanced attack for the Cowgirls (13-6, 5-2 Mountain West) with 13 kills, with Emily Lewis adding 10 and Reed Copeland and Halie McArdle eight apiece. Wyoming's .386 hitting percentage was its best in the MW this season.

Setters Marissa Hines (23) and Cori Aafedt (20) combined for 43 assists, while Madi Fields had a team-high 13 digs and Copeland added five blocks.
