The Wyoming volleyball team won its seventh consecutive match with a sweep at San Diego State on Thursday night. The Cowgirls are 3-0 in conference play for the first time since 1998.
Kayla Slofkiss recorded a team-high 12 kills and added 12 digs with a season-high hitting percentage of .480 (12-0-25). Laura Beach added nine kills for Wyoming, hitting .474 (9-0-19) against SDSU. Senior Kayla Henderson had eight kills on the evening, while Emily Hines added six and Mattison DeGarmo had four for the Cowgirls.
Junior Courtney Chacon led UW in assists with 19 while senior Allison Waldvogel had a team-high 16.
