The University of Wyoming volleyball team took care of business for a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-22, 25-19) of Nevada on Thursday in Laramie. The win extends the Cowgirls' Mountain West winning streak to four matches and is also their seventh win in the last nine matches.
Emily Lewis and Tara Traphagan both tallied a team-high 10 kills for the Cowgirls (10-9, 5-2 MW). It was the third straight match, and seventh overall, that Traphagan reached double-digits kills. She also led the team with four blocks.
Junior Reed Copeland contributed a match-high eight blocks to move into sole possession of sixth in program history with 422 blocks in her career.
