Following a perfect 3-0 weekend to open the season inside the Arena-Auditorium at the Rumble In the Rockies, the Wyoming Cowgirls are now receiving votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
The Cowgirls received 36 votes in the season's first non-preseason poll. Colorado, which was ranked No. 15 nationally when the Cowgirls pulled off the upset on Saturday night, dropped to No. 21. Colorado State, the only other Mountain West team to receive votes, stands at No. 25 after a 1-1 week.
Wyoming swept both North Florida and Oral Roberts on Friday before beating Colorado.
