The Wyoming volleyball team made its debut in the American Volleyball Coaches Association top-25 poll at No. 25 this week. It marks the first time since Oct. 11, 1994, the Cowgirls have been ranked.
Wyoming has won six consecutive games and nine of its last 10 matches.
Most recently Wyoming opened Mountain West play last weekend with a sweep of Boise State and a four-set victory against Utah State. The Cowgirls (12-2, 2-0 MW) were one of three teams to have a perfect MW opening weekend. It’s the first time since 2004 that UW has started 2-0 in MW play.
