The University of Wyoming volleyball team officially makes its third consecutive appearance in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship when the Cowgirls host Northwestern State (20-12) at the UniWyo Sports Complex on Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. start.
Wyoming also hosts the precursor match between Boise State and Weber State, set for a 4 p.m. tip on Thursday, with the winner of that match facing the winner of Wyoming's match at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Cowgirls (21-8) enter the postseason with momentum after winning a program-record 16 Mountain West matches. Wyoming is 12-1 in Laramie this season.
