Wyoming volleyball lost its second consecutive match on Thursday, losing to San Jose State in five sets (18-25, 25-22, 26-28, 25-14, 16-14) on the road.
Bridget Shanahan recorded 11 kills for Wyoming (15-5, 5-3 Mountain West) and moved into 15th place in school hitory. She also had a career-high 14 digs. Courtney Chacon led UW with 19 assists and had a season-high 16 digs.
Freshman Reed Copeland finished with 10 blocks in addition to six kills against the Spartans.
Wyoming goes on the road again next weekend as the Cowgirls head to face Utah State on Oct.
