The University of Wyoming volleyball team saw a pair of winning streaks end with Tuesday's 3-2 loss (25-15, 25-20, 20-25, 25-27, 15-11) to No. 12 Colorado State.
The Cowgirls had won seven consecutive Mountain West matches and 12 consecutive overall at home, but couldn't overcome their 0-2 deficit. The Rams finished with a season-sweep of the Cowgirls.
Bridget Shanahan recorded a team-high 15 kills, while Kayla Slofkiss added 14 kills and 12 digs for UW. Courtney Chacon (26) and Cori Aafedt (23) combined for 49 assists. Allison Waldvogel had a team-high 18 digs.
