Led by two wins from senior Ja'la Henderson, the Wyoming track and field teams had a strong showing Saturday at the Fum McGraw Open in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Henderson took first in both horizontal jumps, winning the long jump with a mark of 19 feet, 9.5 inches and the triple jump with a leap of 42-0.75. Jerayah Davis (Kelly Walsh) was second in the long jump with a mark of 19-8.
Also for the Cowgirls, Jordan Edmonds won the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.7 seconds and Solana Quistoff took the 1500-meter run in 4:37.30.
For the Cowboys, Ricky Faure (Rock Springs) finished first in the 800 with a time of 1:54.
