The University of Wyoming track and field teams will look to continue their impressive seasons beginning Thursday at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships in Clovis, California.
Cowgirls senior Jerayah Davis leads the MW in both the 100-meter dash (11.18 seconds) and the long jump (21 feet, 2.5 inches) and is part of the 4x100 relay team -- along with Ja'la Henderson, Jordan Edmonds and Shayla Howell -- that has the No. 2 mark in the conference.
For the Cowboys, Harry Ewing is the man to beat in the steeplechase (8:42.72) and Kirk Unland is atop the hammer throw (199-05).
