The University of Wyoming indoor track and field teams split the Powder River Dual against Montana State in Gillette on Saturday, with the women winning 82-66 and the men losing 77-73.
Sophomores Jerayah Davis (Kelly Walsh) and Ja'la Henderson traded wins and runner-up finishes. Davis won the 60-meter dash (7.44 seconds) and took second in the long jump, while Henderson won the long jump (19 feet, 4.75 inches) and placed second in the 60-meter dash.
The Cowgirls also swept the 3,000 meters as Gillette native Quinn DeStefano finished with a top-time of 9:58.61. Ahsley Bock and Megan Brunette finished second and third, respectively.
