Wyoming sophomore defender Kimmy Burbank was named the Mountain West Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Burbank, a native of Spring Branch, Texas, headed in both of Wyoming's goals in a 2-1 home victory over Kansas on Sept. 11.
The weekly conference honor is Burbank's first of her career.
Wyoming plays Northern Colorado at Cheyenne East High School on Tuesday.
