Brittney Stark scored in the 48th minute to lead the University of Wyoming soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Colorado College on Friday in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Stark scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season off an assist from Jessie Gentle. Senior goalkeeper Georgia Rowntree stopped all four shots to post her second shutout of the season in the team's Mountain West opener.
The Cowgirls (5-3-1, 1-0-0 MW) remain on the road as they play at Air Force on Sunday.
