Wyoming soccer drops 2-0 home match to Fresno State

The Wyoming soccer team's offensive struggles continued Sunday as the Cowgirls lost 2-0 to Fresno State at the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex in Laramie.

The Bulldogs (6-4-2, 2-2-1 Mountain West) got goals in the 10th and 27th minutes while the Cowgirls' best chance came in the 31st when Jamie Tatum's shot hit off the crossbar. Riley Furbush had four second-half saves for UW.

It was the second game in a row Wyoming (5-4-4, 2-3-1 MW) had been shut out, following Friday's scoreless draw against San Jose State. The Cowgirls close their home schedule this weekend when they host Boise State on Friday and Utah State on Sunday.
