Wyoming soccer defeats San Jose State in overtime

Annika Clayton scored on a penalty kick in overtime to lift the Wyoming soccer team to a 3-2 victory over San Jose State on Sunday in San Jose, California.

Clayton's goal was her team-leading fourth of the season as the Cowgirls (9-3-4, 4-2-2 Mountain West) extended their unbeaten streak to four games.

Savannah Warner, off an assist from Clayton, got UW on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 25th minute. Summer Taube, with an assist from Michaela Stark, scored in the 61st minute to force overtime.
