Adalyn Vergara scored in the 87th minute to allow the University of Wyoming soccer team to escape with a 1-all tie against Air Force on Sunday in Laramie.
Vergara's goal, a header off a corner kick from Jessie Gentle, came just one minute after Kaitlyn Cook had given the Falcons the lead.
Goalkeepers Christina Salazar and Hannah Lee each had two saves for the Cowgirls (8-3-3, 3-2-1 Mountain West), who return to action Friday at Fresno State.
