Tied for the lead going into the final round, Wyoming senior Gabrielle Gibson shot a final-round 70 to win the 40th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club in Sarasota, Florida, late Monday. The Cowgirls finished ninth in the 15-team field.
Gibson's score of 211 is the lowest individual event score in program history. She also is the first Cowgirl medalist at a 54-hole tournament since Jonelle Martinez won the 2009 Mountain West Championships.
The Pat Bradley Invite is the first tournament win of Gibson's career and her fifth top-10 finish as a Cowgirl.
