Wyoming receives 10 all-conference honors after MW track championships

Eight members of the University of Wyoming track and field teams collected 10 separate All-Mountain West honors upon the conclusion of the MW Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday.

Standout jumper Ja'la Henderson won the triple jump with a school record 43-foot, 10.5-inch leap. She also finished third in the long jump, giving her two all-conference nods. She was the only Cowgirl to be named all-conference.

Freshman William Nolan (Cheyenne South) took second in the triple jump and third in the long jump. He was the only other Wyoming athlete to place in multiple events.

Damon Unland (first, hammer), Kirk Unland (second, hammer), Big Piney's Jace Marx (third, 100), Cheyenne Central's Jackson Wood (third, 400), Brandon McGuire (second, 400 hurdles) and Harry Ewing (second, 3,000 steeplechase) were the others who earned all-conference honors.
