The University of Wyoming announced over the weekend that six individuals and one team had been inducted into the 2019 UW Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame.
The athletes inducted were Jay Martin (ski jumping), Mack Peyton (basketball and baseball), Courtney Stapp (women's basketball), Larry Zowada (football), Andrea Everett (cross country, track and field) and Wes Gasner (wrestling). The 1966-67 men's basketball team was also inducted.
Martin (1965-67) was a two-time Olympian and helped lead the Cowboys to a second-place finish in the 1967 NCAA Championships.
Peyton (1947-49) earned all-conference honors in both basketball and baseball for the Cowboys.
