Roughly three weeks after Zach Duval left for Central Florida, Wyoming has hired a new director of sports performance.
In a press release Thursday, the program announced Russell Dennison as its new hire.
A native of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Dennison spent the past five years as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Oklahoma football program. Now he’ll work with UW’s football team, while also helming the entire athletics department’s strength and conditioning staff.
“It’s an exciting time to be a part of Wyoming athletics,” Dennison said. “I’m eager to begin working with our staff to enhance the performance of our athletes.
