Wyoming golfers sit fourth after second round at Arizona NIT

Led by senior Kamrin Allen, the University of Wyoming golf team was tied for fourth after the second round of the Arizona National Invitational Tournament in Tucson.

Allen, from Sheridan, fired a 1-under 71 Monday to move into a tie for 19th place in the 80-man field with a 143.

UW sophomore Drew McCullough was tied for 11th with a two-round score of 141. He was followed by Allen, sophomore Aaron Lickteig with a 144, junior Ryan Wallen with a 146 and sophomore Quintin Pope (Cheyenne East) with a 150.

Santa Clara leads the team standings with a 565; Wyoming has a 573.
