Wyoming Cowgirl club ski team in 3rd at national championships in Jackson

The University of Wyoming club ski team is in good standing going into the final two days of the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association National Championships in Jackson. The Cowgirls stand in third after the 7.5km classic interval start on Tuesday and the freestyle sprint on Wednesday.

Jackson native Sydney Wiswell led the Cowgirls with a 29:00.7 in the classic interval on Tuesday to finish seventh while Natrona County graduate Kit-Kat Gruner finished in 29:16.1 to round-out the top 10. Laramie native Ella DeWolf finished 13th (29:34.3) in Tuesday’s event, Natrona County graduate Madison Tinker took 19th, and Lander duo Morgan Robins and Kailee Behunin finished in 31st and 36th, respectively.
