Wyoming continues to show well at MW Track and Field Championships

The University of Wyoming managed a couple of second-place finishes through the early part of the Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday in Clovis, California.

William Nolan (Cheyenne South) placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 49 feet, 10.5 inches and the women's 4x100 relay team of Jerayah Davis, Ja'la Henderson, Shayla Howell and Jordan Edmonds was second with a time of 42.13 seconds.

Also earning points for the Cowboys late Friday and early Saturday were Pete Mead (Cheyenne East), who finished eighth in the high jump; Reece Shannon, who was fifth in the triple jump; Harry Ewing, who was seventh in the 3,000m steeplechase; and McCade Johnson (Laramie), who was eighth in the 110 hurdles.
