That’s the way athletic director Tom Burman sees it as another year winds down. The 2018-19 season will officially end once the NCAA track and field championships conclude next month. Wyoming is sending 11 qualifiers to Sacramento for the NCAA West Preliminary starting Thursday.
With most of the year in the books, Burman recently took inventory of how Wyoming’s 15 athletic programs performed. It was a rough showing for the prominent revenue sports with football missing out on a bowl game for the first time in three seasons and men’s basketball having its worst season in nearly half a century, but there were also some bright spots.
