The University of Wyoming women's tennis team gets its season started this weekend when it hosts the Wyoming Invite beginning Friday.
The Cowgirls return five starters to a team that went 18-4 overall and 5-0 in Mountain West action last year.
In addition, Cowgirls Magdalena Stencel, Tessa van Der Ploeg and Elisa Koonik will compete in the ITA All-American Championship in Pacific Palisades, California.
Stencel, an all-MW selection last year, will compete in pre-qualifying singles beginning Saturday while the doubles team of van Der Ploeg and Koonik will compete in the qualifying doubles draw.
