University of Wyoming golfers Glenn Workman and Erin Sargent emerged victorious at the Wyoming State Golf Association Amateur Championships over the weekend in Laramie.
Playing at Jacoby Golf Course, Workman carded a 10-under 203 to hold off fellow Cowboys Quintin Pope, who shot a 204, and John Murdock IV, who shot a 205.
Sargent finished with an even-par 216 to beat former Cowgirl Mackenzie Barrie (223) and junior Megan Knadler (226).
At the Wyoming State Match Play Championship earlier this month in Hulett, Murdock had a par on the 18th hole to win one-up over Workman.
