Kathleen Kershisnik became the University of Wyoming's first four-time selection to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar team Tuesday.
Joining Kershisnik, a senior, on the team were fellow Cowgirls Emily Woodard and Klara Castillo. Woodard, a senior from Cheyenne Central, was selected for the third year while sophomore Castillo earned the distinction for the first time.
"This is a tremendous, well-deserved honor for Emily, Kathleen and Klara," UW head coach Josey Stender said. "These ladies represent all that we strive for in the classroom and on the golf course within our program."
