The Casper Star-Tribune’s sports staff garnered 10 national awards last week from the Associated Press Sports Editors for its work in 2015.
The Star-Tribune, competing in the under-30,000 circulation category, claimed an APSE “Triple Crown” for the first time by placing in the top 10 in the country in three of the four section/website awards. Its daily section and website were honored as one of the country’s 10 best. The Star-Tribune also won a Top 10 in special sections for its University of Wyoming 2015-16 men’s basketball preview guide.
Across four circulation categories, only 26 papers in the country won Triple Crowns.
