UW wrapped by competition over the weekend, hosting a nine-team tournament on Saturday in the Uniwyo Sports Complex and the Arena Auditorium, and then traveled down to Denver to take on Denver University.
The tournament teams only played two sets as opposed to the typical five, for brevity reasons.
The Cowgirls opened up their day of competition this weekend with a close match against Metro State University. During the first set, the Cowgirls struggled to find their rhythm early on, but were able to find their stride through the middle of the match.
