The Cowgirls wrapped up the Mountain West Championship where sophomore Erin Sargent lead the Cowgirls as she ended tied for 15th place with a score of 223 (+7).
“Erin played really well, but the rest of us did not at all,” Megan Knadler said. “Our expectations were really high and well deserved because we had a good spring, we won a tournament. But, the team as a whole struggled throughout conference.”
Senior Gabrielle Gibson was next in line for the Cowgirls, she finished 23rd as she shot a 230 (+14). Teammate Knadler shot a 233 (+17), coming in almost right behind Gibson in a tie for 27th place, her best finish of the season, said Wyoming Athletics’ Lincoln Mansch.
