The Mountain West Conference released its Spring 2018 academic all-conference team, which included 93 University of Wyoming student-athletes from both winter and spring sports. That is just shy of the program's all-time mark set last year at 96.
Twenty-seven of those athletes were members of the women's swimming and diving team, 14 from men's track and field, nine from the women's basketball team, seven in men's golf, women's golf and tennis each had six honorees and the men's basketball team provided four.
Additionally, sophomore football player Ben Wisdorf (Cheyenne East) was named to the list after having been inadvertently omitted from the academic All-MW team in the fall.
