Mountain West coaches pick Wyoming cross country teams fifth in preseason poll

The Wyoming men's and women's cross country teams were both picked to finish fifth in the Mountain West coaches' preseason poll released Thursday.

Coming off a fourth-place finish last year, the Cowboys received 23 points to finish behind Colorado State (46), Boise State (43), Air Force (40) and New Mexico (31).

The Cowboys are led by junior Jonah Henry (Laramie) and sophomore Ricky Faure (Rock Springs), both of whom finished in UW's top five at the MW Championships.

The Cowgirls received 63 points, which put them behind New Mexico (99), Boise State (92), Colorado State (79) and Air Force (67).
