Senior Megan Knadler led the University of Wyoming women's golf team to a 10th-place finish Tuesday at the Battle of the Rock in Riverside, California.
Knadler finished 10th with a 3-over 144, shooting 71-73 for the two-day tournament. Also for the Cowgirls, Erin Sargent and Caitlyn Skavdahl (Natrona County) were both 11-over 152, Michelle Nguyen was 18-over 159 and Kaylee Knadler shot a 25-over 166.
Wyoming was 36-over for the tournament, finishing 19 strokes back of Grand Canyon and Cal Poly.
The Cowgirls return to the links Feb. 24-26 at the Kiawah Island Classic in Charleston, South Carolina.
