The University of Wyoming soccer team announced its Class of 2016 on Wednesday. The incoming class consists of six players, including Rachael Troxel of Lander.
Troxel is a three-time all-state defender for the Tigers and helped Lander to a runner-up finish at the 2014 Class 3A State Soccer Championships.
Joining Troxel are forward/midfielder Carlee Martin from Canada; midfielder Brooklynn Mooney from Broomfield, Colorado; defender Avery Smith from Laguna Niguel, California; forward Michaela Stark from Broomfield, Colorado; and Brittney Stark, a transfer from the University of Colorado.
Wyoming finished 10-6-4 last season and lost in the Mountain West tournament championship match for the second year in a row.
