Tate Samuelson, an incoming freshman at the University of Wyoming, finished fourth at the recent USA Wrestling Junior Freestyle Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota.
The Cowboys were also represented by Chase Zollman of Poway, California, who went 5-2 at 138; Jacob Greenwood of Livermore, Colorado, who went 4-2 at 152; and Gillette's Trevor Jeffries, who finished 2-2 at 145.
"After this weekend I'm excited to get these guys in the room full time and work on some things I saw over the weekend," UW head coach Mark Branch said in a release. "It was a great experience that will help them in the future.
