Former University of Wyoming star Larry Nance Jr. helped lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 120-114 victory over the Houston Rockets in the season opener for both team Wednesday.
Nance (6-9, 230) came off the bench to score five points on 2-of-5 shooting from the field and 1-of-2 from the free-throw line.
He added five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 23 minutes.
