Allyson Fertig put up another 20+ point performance to help lift the Cowgirls over Fresno State 62-51. The Cowgirls are now 16-12 and keep their position at 4th in the conference seeding ahead of the tournament in a couple weeks.
The Cowgirls continued their excellent shooting at San Jose into their matchup with Fresno State on Saturday. The Cowgirls and Bulldogs went back and forth in the first quarter, trading three pointers and layups, with Wyoming carrying a narrow 16-14 lead as the quarter wrapped up.
As the second quarter progressed, the Cowgirls began to build a small lead using great passing and solid shooting.
