The University of Wyoming Cowgirls volleyball team beat Colorado State 3 – 1 this Tuesday at the UniWyo Sports Complex in Laramie.
The Cowgirls were led by sophomore Jackie McBride, who had 16 points and 10 kills throughout the four sets.
“It was a great match,” head coach Chad Callihan said. “It was great to be at home; great crowd and a great environment. We played this match here a year ago and we talked about how overexcited we were…I just thought we were in a much different place tonight.”
Going into tonight’s match, junior Madi Fields had 983 digs and became the ninth Cowgirl to reach 1,000 digs, getting 18 tonight.
