Led by sophomore Hannah Mclean-Leonard, the Wyoming swimming and diving team finished sixth at the Mountain West Championships on Saturday in Minneapolis.
Mclean-Leonard placed second in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 1 minute, 59.22 seconds to move into second on the Cowgirls' all-time list in the event.
Also Saturday, seniors Samantha Burke and Connor Tarver placed fourth and seventh, respectively, in the 200 backstroke; and senior diver Peyton GrandPre finished sixth in the platform competition.
In the 400 free relay, the final event of the meet, the Cowgirls' team of Isobel Ryan, Lainee Jones, Kristen Covello and Burke took fourth.
