Cowgirls swimmers head to Minneapolis for Mountain West Championships

The Wyoming women's swimming and diving team will be in Minneapolis beginning Wednesday to compete in the Mountain West Championships.

The Cowgirls, who finished fourth at last year's MW Championships, return one individual champion in senior Samantha Burke, who won the 100-meter backstroke. She currently has top-five times in both the 100 back and the 200 back.

Junior Daniela Luna Rocha has the MW's top time in the 1000 free, while senior Isobel Ryan has top-10 times in the 50 and 100 free and the 100 back and sophomore Hannah Mclean-Leonard has the MW's No. 2 time in the 100 fly.
