University of Wyoming track and field standout Ja'la Henderson continued her impressive junior campaign Saturday at the Beach Invitational in Long Beach, California.
Henderson topped a field of 51 triple jumpers with a leap of 43 feet, 8.5 inches. The mark topped Henderson's school record by eight inches and is currently the eight-best mark in the nation.
Wyoming is back in action this weekend when it hosts the 7220 Invite on Friday.
