The University of Wyoming volleyball team dropped a five-set match to San Diego State late Saturday (18-25, 14-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-12) in San Diego, Calif. It was the Cowgirls' fifth match of the season to go to five sets.
Laura Beach and Courtney Chacon each had double-doubles for Wyoming in the loss. Beach had 13 kiils and ten blocks for her second career double-double, while Chacon had a match-best 36 assists and 12 digs for her ninth double-double of the season.
Freshman Madi Fields set a new career-high with 23 digs and Halie McArdle recorded career highs with eight kills and three blocks.
